Non-Edible Collagen
The perfect casing for all of your dry cured, smoked sausages and ring bologna. This original artificial casing is made from the hydes of cattle and has a natural protein coat which makes the casing adhere to the meat. The straight non-edible collagen mimics natural beef middles which are used to make Italian, Polish and Russian style sausages. Stocked diameters include 50mm, 60mm, 65mm, 70mm, 85mm, 90mm and 100mm. Casing can come either in string-tied pieces customized to any length or in shirred strands. For the ring or curved non-edible collagen, this casing is perfect to make Country Style Ring Bologna or Sujuk, these artificial casings are an imitation of natural beef rounds. Stocked diameters range from 38mm to 52mm. They come in clear and mahogany and prepared in string tied pieces, bundles and shirred.
